The EU is about to create the biggest censorship-regime in the world.
They want to controll what big »social-media« plattforms show their visitors and in which frequence.
Until now, it has often been argued that controlling access to information on the internet may be wrong, but cannot be censorship because it lacks state involvement. Now, as the EU discusses such measures, this argument is about to end. It no longer holds any weight, although it was wrong even before. Of course, official authorities and social media companies work together to control what the crowds sees.
