The subject of materialism is what began my journey here. I searched non-linear thinking on a search engine and discovered this Web site. Last night I finished reading »The Undiscovered Mind« by Horgan. Although the text illuminated many ideas, I'm still perplexed about the explanatory gap. Although I'm not a dualist, I'm not an eliminative materialist, either. What is missing and how do we find the connection? Perhaps some right brain, non-linear thinking will close the gap. |
