If you really want a good excuse to get out of work/school/jury duty, just go out and catch yourself a virus. Those of a hazardous nature, such as Ebola, may cause you pain and suffering, but it will all be worth it in the end, because you won't have to return to that slave-driver of a boss/teacher/judge.
