Well, it begins, the story of Joe Book, who felt like being in a dream, he could not understand the events of the evening before, because...
...Solveig Vidalia walked down the tree-lined street. She paused before knocking on the door of the house with the green shutters. She inhaled appreciatively the fragrance of the gardenias blooming by the brick walk. She was a girl who appreciated the gift of unexpected moments.

...in this state of awareness she expected something to happen. But even worse than the worst thing she could imagine, nothing happend.
There was just this strange tension inside of her. She was waiting for something even she did not really know what it was. But wondering how something like this could happen, how she could expect exactly this, there....
Joe Book could not understand because he could not assemble all events on his own. Though the dream did not stop..
