Excellent point.
Only in the US do such wordings exist. I am from the Caribbean, and I have never met an 'African Jamaican' or an 'African Anguillan' or an 'African Bajan.'
They (we) are Jamaicans, Anguillans or Bajans, regardless of colour.
Get over it, America.
