IF I can stop one heart from breaking,
I shall not live in vain;
If I can ease one life the aching,
Or cool one pain,
Or help one fainting robin
Unto his nest again,
I shall not live in vain.

~~~Emily Dickinson (1830–86)
I am only one,
But still I am one.
I cannot do everything,
But still I can do something;
And because I cannot do everything
I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.
If you don't have one you can always get one from somebody else. Or you could try making one but that might take a bit of doing. You'd have to take two and split it which is something they've only learned to do within the last fifty years or so.
One is the geometric midpoint between zero and infinity. One times infinity is infinity and one divided by infinity is zero.
Well it's too late tonight to drag the past out into the light
We're one, but we're not the same
We get to carry each other, carry each other... one
