the thugs use a rummel to kill people on journey. The sacrifice them to their godess. Kali I think, or Gauri. They dig them. Learning by doing. The goddess enjoys to drink blood of the victims, the sacrifice brought to her.Thugs are used to make short work of strangers. Even nowadays. But as India is such a big country, and the are working underground, it is not common known. There can be so many reasons somebody disappears.I think it is just one way somebeody is vanished without trace. |
