Like them or not, Rene Levesque forced Canadians to confront their own identity, and Pierre Trudeau showed Canadians that they could go first class.
The opposite of Canadian? It's like the opposite of fog. What IS Canadian? Near as I can tell, it amounts to little more than an obsessive need to plaster maple leaves on every possible surface.
