I read »Plateformes.« Few good ideas, but the style sucks and stinks to the most high. I am sure he wants to be another Celine, but the difference is so immense between the two that I'm ashamed I put the name of »le grand« Celine beside that pitiful crippled eternal apprentice.

Michel Houellebecq is a French author who published ideas about capitalism and sexuality that are very convincing but as well absolutely depressing. Never read Houellebecq if you want to have fun, but read him if you want to understand what is happening in our society...
