J – Judgment

Hebrews 9:27 – »And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:«

Romans 3:23 – »For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.«

Romans 6:23 – »The wages of sin is death …«



E – Eternal

II Corinthians 4:18 – »While we look not at the things which are seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.«

Heaven is an eternal home with God. Hell is an eternal home of torment, weeping and gnashing of teeth, without God.

Luke 16:22-23 – »… the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried. And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.«



S – Sacrifice

John 3:16 – »For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.«

John 10:17-18 – »Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself …«



U – Unconditional Love

Romans 5:8 – »But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.«

John 4:19 – »We love Him because He first loved us.«

John 4:10 – »Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be propitiation (atonement) for our sins.«



S – Salvation

I Thessalonians 5:9 – »For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.«

Romans 6:23 – »… but the gift of God is eternal life.«

Romans 9:10 – »…if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.«
