Moments are just space in time that is supended and suppress by other moments in your reality.
It's the time in between things happening that's really the most unsettling to me. Look at how much of our lives are spent waiting for other things to happen. In the end, everything you were is just a collection of memorable moments, and you've blissfully forget the vast majority of your life that was wasted. Oh, I'm so deep... Something's getting deep in here.
