There aren't any flowers in front of my house. But, I only just noticed.

My heart is at ease whenever I drive by and see the trees in bloom. The flowers make everything seem so alive. But this beauty is so short. A couple weeks and then its over, with nothing but many little petals scattered everywhere to remind us that it only happens once a year.
